He has been involved in bluegrass for 50+ years. For the past 20 years he has focused on Monroe style mandolin studying with Mike Compton, David McLaughlin, Chris Henry and others. Tom has played in local bluegrass bands over the years. In recent times, Tom has focused his playing in jams, running The monthly “Winamac Bluegrass Jam” and attending festival to jam through out the summer months. He’s anxious to share the joy of jamming with new players
